A találmány tárgya eljárás és elrendezés töltési szint mérésére,amelyhez például sorba kapcsolt bemeneti erősítőt (2), sávszűrőt (3)és végerősítőt (4) tartalmazó gerjesztő áramkör által rezgésbe hozottrezgővillát (1) alkalmaznak. A rezgővillához (1) a gerjesztőáramkörrel a rezgővilla (1) alapfrekvenciáját közlő jellemző elem (6)van hozzárendelve. A jellemző elem (6) a rezgővilla (1)alapfrekvenciáját frekvenciakiértékelő áramkör (5) állító bemenetéhezis juttatja, amelynek bemenete a gerjesztő áramkör kimenetével vanösszekötve.
