Claims (8)
- Eine Vorrichtung für einen Tintendrucker mit folgenden Merkmalen:einem Düsenbauglied (16) mit einer Mehrzahl von Tintenöffnungen (17), die in demselben gebildet sind;einem Substrat (28), das eine Mehrzahl von Heizelementen (70) aufweist, wobei das Substrat (28) auf einer hinteren Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds (16) befestigt ist, wobei jedes Heizelement (70) in der Nähe einer zugeordneten Tintenöffnung (17) angeordnet ist, und wobei sich die hintere Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds über zwei oder mehr äußere Kanten (86) des Substrats erstreckt;einem Körper, der einen Tintenbehälter (12) enthält, wobei das Düsenbauglied auf dem Körper positioniert ist und durch eine Dichtung, die im wesentlichen das Substrat umgibt, zwischen dem Körper und der hinteren Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds bezüglich des Körpers abdichtend befestigt ist.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, die ferner einen Fluidkanal (80) aufweist, der eine Verbindung zwischen dem Tintenbehälter (12) und einer hinteren Oberfläche des Substrats, die von der Abdichtung umgeben ist, bildet.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, die ferner einen Fluidkanal (80) aufweist, der eine Verbindung mit dem Tintenbehälter (12) bildet, um zu ermöglichen, daß Tinte um die Seitenkanten des Substrats (86) und in Verdampfungskammern (72) fließt, wobei jede Verdampfungskammer einer Öffnung (17) in dem Düsenbauglied (16) zugeordnet ist.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, bei der die Abdichtung durch ein Kleber-Dichtungsmittel gebildet ist, das ferner das Düsenbauglied (16) an dem Körper befestigt.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, bei der das Düsenbauglied (16) aus einem flexiblen Polymermaterial gebildet ist.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, bei der das Düsenbauglied (16) eine starre Platte ist.
- Die Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, bei der die Abdichtung ferner leitfähige Spuren (36) einkapselt, die auf dem Düsenbauglied (16) befestigt und mit Elektroden (74) auf dem Substrat (28) verbunden sind.
- Ein Verfahren des Abdichtens eines Düsenbauglieds (16) in einem Tintenstrahldruckkopf bezüglich eines Körpers mit folgenden Schritten:Befestigen eines Substrats (28), das eine Mehrzahl von Heizelementen (70) aufweist, an einer hinteren Oberfläche eines Düsenbauglieds, das eine Mehrzahl von Öffnungen (17) aufweist, wobei die hintere Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds sich über zwei oder mehr äußere Kanten (86) des Substrats (28) erstreckt;Positionieren der hinteren Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds (16) relativ zu dem Körper eines Tintenbehälters (12) mit einem Dichtungsmittel zwischen der hinteren Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds und dem Körper, derart, daß das Dichtungsmittel das Substrat umgibt und eine Tintenabdichtung zwischen der hinteren Oberfläche des Düsenbauglieds und dem Körper liefert.
