The example in Figure 2B had 63% RP remaining and a b-value of 17.04 under accelerated stabilization conditions (40°C, 75% RH, 6 months). Surprisingly, the formulation with more stable RP had a higher b-value and was more yellow. This yellowing is unacceptable to consumers, who believe that a more yellow product is less effective and/or contains impurities.

Therefore, Example 3 is physically and chemically more stable than formulations such as those of Examples 1 and 2 and may be preferred by consumers.
