Abstract

This invention relates to a slide fastener with a separable bottom end stop which enables a reinforcement portion of the separable bottom end stop to be sewed securely thereby preventing ribs at a sewing position from being damaged by a sewing needle. A reinforcement portion (10) is formed integrally on a lower half portion of each of a box pin (8) and an insert pin (9) of the separable bottom end stop using synthetic resin such that it is exposed on the fastener tape (3). The reinforcement portion (10) is constituted of an auxiliary member (11) and ribs (13) formed at a sewing position (40) to be sewed to a sewing object. The rib (13) is formed such that its height is 0.5 to 0.85 mm and its width is 0.6 to 0. 9 mm and that it is expanded gradually from a vertex to a base portion. A gap portion (23), which is wider than the base portion of the rib (13), is formed between adjoining ribs (13). Thus, the rib (13) avoids strike of a sewing needle to prevent itself from being damaged by the sewing needle and the gap portion (23) ensures sewing of the fastener tape onto the sewing object. <IMAGE>

Description

Slide fastener with separable bottom end stop
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a structure of a reinforcing portion for reinforcing a fastener tape, in which a fastener tape is disposed in the vicinity of a box pin or an insert pin, and the box pin or the insert pin is connected to an end portion of the fastener tape, which is in turn disposed on a slide fastener in the form of a separable bottom end stop.
Background
In recent years, there has been a demand in the zipper market for a product that is simple in structure, inexpensive, and excellent in quality. This tendency is particularly evident in the field of slide fasteners provided with a separable bottom end stop which is used on an opening/closing portion of the front of the garment and can be connected to or separated from the end portions of the fastener tapes.
In the conventional slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stops, a plurality of fastener elements are attached to opposite side edges of a pair of fastener tapes and connected to separable bottom end stops constituted by a box pin, and a box pin and an insert pin are connected to bottom ends of the fastener elements. Then, a reinforcing tape provided with an adhesive layer on a plain weave (taffeta) or a synthetic resin film is adhered to the portion of the fastener tape where such a separable bottom end stop needs to be installed, in order to reinforce the portion for providing a stabilizing effect, followed by attaching the separable bottom end stop in place.
Such a slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop and the reinforcing tape provided thereon requires installation of the reinforcing tape capable of reinforcing the fastener tapes, which increases the number of parts of the slide fastener and thus increases the cost. Further, since a step of adhering the reinforcing tape and an adhering machine are generally required in the method of manufacturing the slide fastener, the process of the manufacturing process cannot be simplified and the manufacturing cost of the product is increased.
On the other hand, for example, british patent 988659 has disclosed a separable bottom end stop for a slide fastener, which is integrally connected to the front and rear faces of a fastener tape using synthetic resin, and a reinforcing portion provided with a plurality of ribs, without connecting a reinforcing tape to the end of the fastener tape.
Although the cross-section of the rib of the slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop disclosed in the document can be made in any shape, the patent does not make any improvement in the collision between the rib and the sewing needle, which may occur during a sewing operation of a sewing object such as clothes. Therefore, the frequency of the damage of the rib due to the impact of the sewing needle is high, and the damaged portion may protrude from the fitting portion between the link belt and the clothes, which may injure the skin of the wearer.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is a primary object of the present invention to improve a method for sewing a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop to a sewing object (e.g., clothes), and more particularly, to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop, which can be easily and safely sewn to a sewing object (e.g., clothes) and can prevent a reinforcing portion from being damaged due to collision between a sewing needle and a rib, and can smoothly perform a separating operation of the separable bottom end stop.
In addition to the above objects, a second object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop capable of deviating a sewing needle from a rib effectively even if the sewing needle and the rib on a reinforcing part are brought into contact with each other during sewing, to safely sew the slide fastener to a sewing object, thereby securing safe contact of a cloth with the skin.
Further, a third object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop, which can safely and efficiently sew a reinforcing portion in place without any trouble in the sewing process. It is a fourth object of the present invention to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop in which the ribs of the reinforcing portion are provided with a desired slope, thereby preventing the ribs from being damaged by a sewing needle during sewing and enabling the ribs of the reinforcing portion to be smoothly sewn.
A fifth object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop, which allows proper and efficient sewing of a large-sized slide fastener if a sewing thread is distant from an opening.
A sixth object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop which is capable of performing an appropriate and effective sewing process for a small-sized slide fastener if a sewing thread is in the vicinity of one opening.
A seventh object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop, in which ribs of a reinforcing part are symmetrically provided on front and back surfaces of a fastener tape, so that it is possible to sew it on either side, thereby preventing the ribs from being damaged by an impact of a sewing needle.
According to the present invention, to achieve the above object, a plurality of fastener elements are attached to both opposite side edges of a pair of stringers, and are further provided with: a separable bottom end stop made of synthetic resin, such as a box pin, a box body and an insert pin, which is connected to a side edge of the link belt at an end of the fastener element by integral molding; and a reinforcing portion integrally formed with the separable bottom end stop in the following manner: so that it is exposed on at least one surface of the link belt for the purpose of reinforcing the link belt. The reinforcing portion is formed of a plurality of ribs connected to the separable bottom end stop. These ribs are formed at the sewing position of the sewing object (e.g., clothes) so that the height H is 0.5 to 0.85 mm and the width W is 0.6 to 0.9 mm, and are gradually increased from the apex to the bottom. Further, a gap portion having a gap S wider than the width of the base portion of the rib is provided between the adjacent ribs. Therefore, the slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop enables the reinforcing portion constituted by the convex ribs to be sewn easily and efficiently.
In addition to this structure, the ribs provided at the sewing positions of the reinforcing part are provided with chamfered portions having cut-off top corners, and the chamfered portions are preferably formed in a structure like an arc having a cross-sectional shape with a radius of 0.05 to 0.1 mm.
Further, in addition to the basic structure of the present invention, the size of the gap portion between the adjacent ribs provided at the sewing position of the reinforcing portion is preferably 2.0 to 2.5 mm, and the respective ribs are preferably provided in parallel in the width direction of the fastener tape.
In addition to the above-described basic structure, these ribs at the sewing positions of the reinforcing portion preferably satisfy the following conditions: tan θ ═ H/(W/2), i.e., the inclination of the rib on the bottom portion thereof is from 1.1 to 2.9. That is, the inclination angle θ of the convex ribs provided at the sewing positions of the reinforcing portion is preferably in the range of 55 ° to 70 ° on the bottom portion thereof.
Further, in addition to the above-described structure, it is preferable that the ribs at the sewing positions of the reinforcing parts are provided on the side surfaces of the separable bottom end stops, and the ribs are attached to the side edges of the link belt by an auxiliary member which is processed into a flat shape or various shapes.
In addition, these ribs at the sewing positions of the reinforcing portions may be provided on the side surfaces of the separable bottom end stops, and may not be directly connected to the side edges of the link belt by any auxiliary member. These ribs at the sewing positions of the reinforcing parts may be symmetrically provided on the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape to sandwich the fastener tape between the ribs.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a plurality of preferred embodiments of a slide fastener provided with a separable bottom end stop will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings
Examples are illustrated.
As shown in fig. 1, in the slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop, the slide fastener 1 is not a closed type product closed by one bottom end stop, but a separable product, that is, the slide fastener is provided with a separable bottom end stop 5 capable of completely separating the left and right fastener reinforcing tapes 2. The fastener elements 4 are mounted on a core 6, and the core 6 is provided on the side edge of the fastener tape 3. A box pin 8 as a separable bottom end stop 5 is mounted on a core portion 6, and the core portion 6 is integrally connected to the bottom end of the engaging element 4 on the one side fastener stringer 2; an insert pin 9 as a separable bottom end stop 5 is mounted on a core 6, and the core 6 is integrally connected to the bottom end of the engaging element 4 of the other side fastener stringer 2. As shown in fig. 10, the fastener reinforcing strip 2 is provided with a separable bottom end stop provided with a box pin 8 and a box 7, and the fastener reinforcing strip 2 is combined with the fastener reinforcing strip 2 provided with an insert pin 9 to form a slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop.
In the slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop, as shown in the first embodiment of fig. 2 to 12, a planar reinforcing portion 10 is formed integrally with one side surface of the box pin 8, and the box pin 8 is connected to the one-side fastener stringer 2 of the slide fastener 1, so that the reinforcing portion 10 is exposed on the surface of the fastener tape 3, as shown in fig. 2. On the other hand, a planar reinforcing portion 10 is integrally formed with one side surface of the insert pin 9, and the insert pin 9 is connected to the other fastener stringer 2, so that the reinforcing portion 10 is exposed on the surface of the fastener tape 3, as shown in fig. 6. The engaging elements 4, the box pin 8, the insert pin 9, the box 7 and the reinforcing portion 10 in the slide fastener 1 are integrally formed with the fastener tape 3 by injection molding using thermoplastic resins such as polyacetal and polyamide.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, 6 and 7, the box pin 8 and the plug pin 9 are respectively provided with reinforcing portions 10 protruding outward from the side surfaces thereof, and the surfaces of these reinforcing portions 10 extend in a planar manner. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the reinforcing portion 10 on the box pin 8, a plurality of ribs 13 as one auxiliary member 11 are obliquely provided in the following manner: so as to protrude outwardly from the side of the lower half of the box pin 8 on the chain belt 3 and form a recessed portion 14 between these obliquely arranged ribs 13. The concave portion 14 may be manufactured in various shapes such as a square, a diamond, a circle, or an oval, and may be manufactured in a through-hole structure. Thus, the convex ribs 13 and the concave portions 14 are made flexible, and the intersecting portions of the convex ribs 13 are made in an arc-shaped structure, for example, a circular structure, in order to disperse the external force acting on the reinforcing part 10.
As for the size of the auxiliary member 11, the width of the fastener tape 3 of the conventional 3 rd to 5 th slide fasteners is 13 to 16 mm, and the size of the auxiliary member 11 is preferably about 30% of the width of the fastener tape 3. The size of the auxiliary member 11 can be freely changed according to the size of the zipper and the customer's request. As the auxiliary member 11, a plurality of ribs 13 may be provided in parallel in the width direction of the link belt 3, or it may be a flat plate instead of the rib structure. Further, a concave cut portion 15 is provided on the bottom edge of the auxiliary member 11 on the reinforcing portion 10 to absorb a part of the external force by the cut portion 15 when a torsion or the like acts on the end of the link belt 3. Meanwhile, the cutout portion 15 may also be provided on the top edge of the auxiliary member 11.
A plurality of ribs 13 are formed at the sewing position 40 for sewing it to a sewing object located outside the reinforcement part 10, for example, to a garment. As shown in fig. 2, the ribs 13 are provided in parallel with the width direction of the chain belt 3, and the proximal ends of the ribs 13 are integrally connected to the auxiliary member 11. The front ends of these ribs 13 extend upward to the vicinity of the chain belt 3, and the ends of the respective ribs 13 are connected to form a frame 16. The rib 13 has a thickness greater than that of the auxiliary member 11 as shown in fig. 3.
These ribs 13 at the sewing position 40 are substantially an isosceles triangle having a pair of oblique sides as shown in fig. 4 and 5, and these ribs 13 also project symmetrically from the front and back surfaces of the link belt 3. For the specific structure of the rib 13, the width W of the base portion 20, i.e., the width of the bottom portion, which is in contact with the chain belt 3 is 0.6 to 0.9 mm, and the height H thereof is in the range of 0.5 to 0.85 mm. The width of the convex rib 13 becomes gradually larger along the direction from the apex 19 to the base portion 20 of the convex rib 13, and the inclination angle θ of the bottom portion 20 of the convex rib 13 can be found by using the height H and the width W of the convex rib according to the expression tan θ ═ H/(W/2). Thus, the tilt angle θ has a relationship: 1.1. ltoreq. tan. theta. ltoreq.2.9, and the inclination angle theta falls within a range of 47 DEG to 71 deg. Preferably, the inclination angle θ is in the range of 55 ° to 70 °. The top corners 19 of the convex ribs 13 are rounded to form a rounded portion 21, and the rounded portion 21 is formed in a circular shape in the cross section of the convex ribs 13 and has a radius of curvature of 0.05 to 0.1 mm. When the sewing thread is processed by the sewing machine, even if the sewing needle 41 and the rib 13 contact each other, the rib 13 having such a structure can easily move the front needle tip portion of the sewing needle 41 to the slope 22 of the rib 13, thereby preventing the rib 13 from being damaged. In addition, instead of a planar surface configuration, the ramp 22 may be curved in a slightly arcuate configuration.
Since the rib 13 is symmetrically provided on the front and rear surfaces of the link belt 3 at the sewing position 40 shown in fig. 4, the rib 13 can be prevented from being damaged by the striking of the sewing needle 41 even if the sewing operation is performed from either side. At the sewing position 40, a plurality of gap portions 23 are formed between the adjacent ribs 13 in the length direction of the link belt 3 to facilitate the sewing operation of the reinforcing part 10. The dimension S of the gap portion 23 is preferably 2.0 to 2.5 mm as measured by the gap S between the bottoms 20 of the convex ribs 13. When the link belt 3 is sewn to the sewing object 42, the size d of the sewing needle 41 used is between 0.92 and 1.02 mm. If it is considered that the sewing needle 41 is penetrated into the fastener tape 3 positioned in the gap S between the ribs 13, since the gap S is larger than the bottom width W of the ribs 13 and the size d of the sewing needle 41, the sewing needle 41 is prevented from contacting the ribs 13, and thus the reinforced part 10 can be sewn safely.
For the box pin 8 provided on the core portion 6 of the link belt 3, a groove 17 may be provided on a surface opposite to the surface on which the reinforcing portion 10 is provided. A partition 29 provided between the front wall 25 and the rear wall 26 of the box 7 engages with the groove 17, so that the box pin 8 is formed integrally with the box 7.
On the reinforcing portion 10 of the fastener stringer 2 to which the insert pin 9 is attached, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, a plurality of ribs 13 are provided obliquely as an auxiliary member 11 in the following manner: so that it protrudes outward on the side of the lower half of the insert pin 9, i.e., so that the fastener tape 3 is like the fastener reinforcing tape 2 to which the box pin 8 is attached. Through-hole type concave portions 14 having no bottom are provided in these inclined ribs 13 to impart flexibility thereto. The intersecting portion of the convex rib 13 is processed into an arc-like shape, for example, a circular shape, to disperse an external force acting on the reinforcing portion 10.
The auxiliary member 11 in the reinforcing portion 10 is manufactured in a structural form of about 30% of the width of the link belt 3, and the link belt 3 is like the reinforcing bar 2 provided with the box pin 8. A cut portion 15 is provided in a lower edge of the auxiliary member 11 in the reinforcing portion 10 to absorb a part of an external force, such as a torsion force acting on an end of the link belt 3, through the cut portion 15. Meanwhile, such a cutout portion 15 is also provided on the upper edge of the auxiliary member 11.
These ribs 13 are provided on the outer side of the reinforcing portion 10 so as to be connected with the auxiliary member 11 like the fastener stringer 2 to which the box pin 8 is attached. Such ribs 13 are formed thicker than the ribs 13 of the auxiliary member 11, and the ribs 13 are provided in the following manner, respectively: so as to extend in parallel with a gap toward the outside of the link belt 3, and the front ends of these ribs 13 are connected to form a frame 16.
These ribs 13 are substantially isosceles triangles having a pair of inclined surfaces, like the ribs 13 of the fastener stringer 2 to which the box pin 5 is attached, as shown in fig. 5. The width W of the base portion 20 or the bottom portion of the rib 13 is 0.6 to 0.9 mm, and the height H thereof is in the range of 0.5 to 0.85 mm. The width of the convex rib 13 becomes gradually larger in a direction from the apex 19 of the convex rib 13 to the base portion 20. The inclination angle θ of the base portion 20 of the convex rib 13 satisfies the following relationship: 1.1. ltoreq. tan. theta. ltoreq.2.9, and the inclination angle theta is in the range of 47 DEG to 71 deg. Preferably, the inclination angle θ is in the range of 55 ° to 70 °. The top corners 19 of the beads 13 are rounded to form rounded portions 21, and the rounded portions 21 are preferably formed in a circular shape and have a radius of curvature of 0.05 to 0.1 mm in the cross section of the beads 13. When the sewing thread is processed by the sewing machine, even if the sewing needle 41 contacts with the rib 13, the rib 13 can easily move the front needle point of the sewing needle 41 to the inclined surface 22 of the rib 13, thereby preventing the rib 13 from being damaged. Furthermore, the surface of the bevel 22 may be slightly curved instead of a planar surface structure.
As shown in fig. 3 and 7, the reinforcing part 10 formed of the auxiliary member 11, the insert pin 9, and the reinforcing part 10 formed of a plurality of ribs at the sewing position 40 may be formed on the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 3 by an injection molding process, wherein the auxiliary member 11 is provided on the reinforcing tape 2 of the slide fastener on which the box-type pin 8 is mounted, and the sewing position 40 is located adjacent to the auxiliary member 11, so that the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 3 are held by the reinforcing part 10. These reinforcing portions 10 may be provided only on one surface of the link belt 3, not on both sides thereof.
In the box body 7 connected to the fastener stringer 2 with the box pin 8, the box pin 8 is a rectangular solid body, and as shown in fig. 8 and 9, a thin partition 29 is provided at an upper portion of a central position between the front wall 25 and the rear wall 26, and a joining portion 32 is provided at a lower end of the partition 29. A rear wall 27 on the side of the case body 7 is provided with an insertion hole 28 which is a hole equal to the thickness of the auxiliary member 11 of the reinforcement portion 10 and through which the fastener stringer 2 having the box pin 8 is inserted, and a box pin insertion hole 30 through which the box pin 8 is inserted is provided between the insertion hole 28 and the partition 29. A receptacle 28 which is a hole equal to the thickness of the auxiliary member 11 of the reinforcing part 10, and through which receptacle 28 the fastener reinforcing strip 2 fitted with the insert pin 9 can be passed, the receptacle 28 extending to the bottom; meanwhile, a card pin insertion hole 31 is formed between the insertion hole 28 and the partition 29, and the card pin 9 can pass through the card pin insertion hole 31, thus forming a complete case 7.
As shown in fig. 10, the box pin 8 of the fastener stringer 2 in which the box pin 8 is fitted is inserted into the box pin insertion hole 30 in the box body 7, the auxiliary member 11 of the reinforcing portion 10 is inserted into the insertion hole in the side wall 27, and the partition 29 provided in the box body 7 is pressed into the groove 17 provided on the side surface of the box pin 8. Thus, the engaging portion 32 provided on the bottom end of the partition 29 is engaged with the end of the groove 17, thereby engaging and fixing the box pin 8 and the box 7 to each other.
When the fastener stringer 2 provided with the insert pin 9 is mounted on the fastener stringer 2 provided with the case 7 while one slider 35 is slid to be brought into contact with the top end of the case 7 and kept in contact with each other, as shown in fig. 11, the insert pin 9 can be inserted in the guide groove 37 of the slider 35 by sandwiching the reinforcing portion 10 of the fastener stringer 2 provided with the insert pin 9. Further, the auxiliary member 11 of the reinforcing portion 10 is inserted between the two flanges 36, so that the plug pin 9 can be inserted into the plug pin insertion hole 31 in the case 7. Thereafter, if the slider 35 is pulled by gripping the reinforcing portion 10 and the slider 35 is slid, a complete slide fastener 1 is formed, as shown in fig. 12, in which the closure elements 4 on the left and right fastener stringers 2 are engaged with each other in this state in the slide fastener 1.
When the completed slide fastener 1 is attached to a target fabric 42 such as clothes, the target fabric 42 is attached to the sewing position 40 of the reinforcing portion 10 integrally formed with the box pin 8 and the insert pin 9, and the box pin 8 and the insert pin 9 are respectively provided on the left and right fastener stringers 2, as shown in fig. 13 and 14, the target fabric 42 and the fastener tape 3 are sewn together by the sewing machine so that the sewing thread crosses over the rib 13.
In the reinforcing part 10 shown in fig. 15, the auxiliary member 11 provided on the side surface of the box pin 8 in parallel in the width direction of the chain belt 3 is integrally formed with the convex rib 13. The plurality of beads 13 located at the sewing position 40 or the plurality of beads 13 having the same structure as the beads 13 shown in fig. 4 and 5 are provided with a predetermined gap portion 23 in such a manner as to extend from the auxiliary member 11. Similarly to the box pin 8, the auxiliary member 11 provided in the width direction of the fastener tape is integrally formed with the plurality of ribs 13, and the plurality of ribs 13 located at the sewing position 40 are provided with predetermined gap portions 23 so as to be extended from the auxiliary member 11.
The reinforcing part 10 shown in fig. 16 is provided with a plurality of ribs 13 extending in a curved line toward the outside of the link belt 3. These ribs 13 having the same shape and state as those of the ribs 13 shown in fig. 4 and 5 extend upward from the side surface of the box pin 8 to the edge of the link belt 3 with a predetermined gap portion 23, so that they are bent in parallel together. A plurality of ribs 13 having the same shape are provided on the side of the insert pin 9 with predetermined gap portions 23, and such a reinforcing portion 10 is suitable for use in the small link belt 3. At the same time, these ribs 13 can be connected with the auxiliary members 11 provided on the sides of the box pin 8 and the plug pin 9.
In the reinforcing portion 10 shown in fig. 17, the box pin 8 and the case 7 are integrally formed, and the attachment side of the auxiliary member 11 of the reinforcing portion 10 is integrally formed with the case 7, so that they can be reliably attached and fixed together. In the reinforcing portion 10 shown in fig. 18, an auxiliary member 11 constituted by a plurality of inclined ribs 13 is integrally formed with the side surface of the box pin 8, and in this auxiliary member 11, a plurality of convex ribs 13 are arranged with a prescribed gap portion 23 as in the previous example, so that the outer side of the convex ribs 13 is opened. In the reinforcing part 10 shown in fig. 19, the auxiliary member 11 is provided on both surfaces of the link belt 3 in such a manner as to protrude from the side surface of the box pin 8, and the auxiliary member 11 is also provided with such a rib 13: such ribs are provided on one surface of the link belt 3 at the sewing positions 40. Furthermore, a warp thread (not shown) may be pulled out from the fastener tape at the sewing position and disposed on the outer edge of the rib, thereby forming a rough structural portion; then, when the outer portions of the beads are molded onto the rough-structured portion, a molten synthetic resin material is penetrated into the rough structure, thereby reliably fixing the beads to the chain belt.
The embodiment shown in fig. 20 shows an example applied to the double-sided separable bottom end-stop 5. One end of the zipper reinforcing strip 2 is provided with a box pin 8, and one end of the other zipper reinforcing strip 2 is provided with an insert pin 9. The left and right fastener stringers 2 are not provided with the case 7, and the two sliders 35 are slidably installed in opposite directions so that the slide fastener 1 can be opened/closed from both sides and the slide fastener 1 can be separated from both the left and right sides.
A longer box pin 8 is provided on the core portion 6 of one fastener tape 3 of such a slide fastener, and two sliders 35 are passed through the box pin 8. A flange 36 of the slider 35 is in contact with the front end of the box pin 8, and a stopper 18 for stopping the sliding of the slider 35 is provided so as to be extendable in the horizontal direction. The front end of the stopper 18 extends upward to a thicker rib 13 provided on the sewed portion 40 of the reinforcement portion 10. A laterally projecting thin projecting piece 33 is provided on the tip end of the box pin 8 in a step-like structure so as to be able to overlap with the step-like projecting piece 33 provided on the tip end of the plug pin 9.
A longer insert pin 9 is provided on the core portion 6 of the other link belt 3, and two sliders 35 can pass over this insert pin 9. A projecting member 33 that fits with the projecting member 33 of the box pin 8 and covers the projecting member 33 is provided at the tip end of the plug pin 9. The auxiliary parts 11, 11 of the reinforcement parts 10, 10 are arranged in the following manner: the end side thereof is expanded to such an extent as to be able to fit into one of the vanes of the slider 35 in order to allow the wide vane provided on the shoulder side of the slider 35 to pass through the auxiliary member 11.
As for the condition of use of the separable bottom end stop 5, since the two sliders 35 are mounted on the fastener reinforcing strip 2 provided with the box pin 8 in such a manner as to be able to point in opposite directions, the slider 35 and the stopper 18 of the box pin 8 are kept in contact with each other, and then the insert pin 9 of the fastener reinforcing strip 2 in which the insert pin 9 is mounted is inserted into the slider 35. Then, the slider 35 at the upper portion is pulled upward to engage the coupling elements 4 at the left and right fastener reinforcing tapes 2 with each other, thereby forming a completed slide fastener 1. To separate the slide fastener 1, if the fastener reinforcing tape 2 with the insert pin 9 attached thereto is pulled out of the two sliders 35 after the two sliders 35 are pulled down to the stoppers 18, the right and left reinforcing tapes 2 can be separated and released from each other.
The slide fastener provided with the separable bottom end stop has the above-described structure, and the following effects are produced by this structure.
That is, a plurality of fastener elements are attached to both opposite side edges of a pair of fastener tapes, and a separable bottom end stop made of synthetic resin is provided, which is connected to the side edges of the fastener tapes at one end portion of the fastener elements by an integral molding process, and a reinforcing portion is integrally formed with the separable bottom end stop in the following manner: the reinforcing portion is exposed on at least one surface of the link belt. The reinforcing portion is formed of a plurality of ribs connected to the separable bottom end stop. These ribs are provided at the sewing position in the following manner: so that the height H thereof is 0.5 to 0.85 mm and the width W thereof is 0.6 to 0.9 mm, and the ribs are gradually expanded from the top corners thereof toward the base portion. In addition, a gap portion is provided, which is wider than the rib base between the ribs. Thus, the structure of the rib at the sewing position of the reinforcing portion is explained in detail, and therefore, the rib can easily avoid the striking of the sewing needle when sewing the reinforcing portion to the sewing object. Thus, the ribs are prevented from being damaged, and the reinforcing portion can be sewn accurately and reliably by the gap portion.
In addition to the above-described structure, the beads provided at the sewing positions of the reinforcing part are provided with rounded portions formed by rounding the top corners thereof, and the rounded portions are processed into a structure like an arc having a radius of 0.05 to 0.1 mm in the cross section. Therefore, when the reinforcement part is sewn to the sewing object, the ribs can smoothly move the front needlepoint of the sewing needle, thereby preventing the ribs from being damaged. Further, since the dimension S of the gap portion between the adjacent ribs at the sewing position of the reinforcing portion is 2.0 to 2.5 mm and the ribs are arranged in parallel in the width direction, the ribs provided at the sewing position of the reinforcing portion can be easily sewn and the reinforcing portion can be reliably fixed to the sewing object by effectively utilizing the gap portion.
For those ribs located at the sewing positions of the reinforcing portion, the inclination degree of the rib bottom is represented by tan θ ═ H/(W/2), and tan θ satisfies the following relationship: 1.1. ltoreq. tan theta. ltoreq.2.9, and the inclination angle of the rib base is set in the range of 55 DEG to 70 deg. Therefore, when sewing the ribs provided on the sewing portion of the reinforcing portion, the sewing needle can be efficiently removed by the rib inclined surface inclined at such a specific angle, thereby efficiently sewing it to a proper position.
Since these ribs at the sewing position of the reinforcement portion are provided on the side of the separable bottom end stop by the auxiliary member, they are the best reinforcement portion for use in a large-sized slide fastener and can be effectively sewn to the sewing object. Further, since these ribs at the sewing position of the reinforcing portion are provided directly on the side of the separable bottom end stop, they are the best reinforcing portion for use in a small-sized slide fastener and can be effectively sewn to the object to be sewn.
In addition, because the convex ribs positioned at the sewing positions of the reinforcing part are symmetrically arranged on the front surface and the back surface of the chain belt, even if the chain belt is sewn from any side, the convex ribs can also effectively avoid the collision of a sewing needle, so that the chain belt can be smoothly and reliably sewn, and products with excellent quality are produced. Therefore, the effect produced by the present invention is very remarkable.
