Abstract

An item of electrical equipment (20) is produced as a module that is installed in a channel section (4). The unit has a base (21) that is of rectangular sections with a clamping assembly (70,73) having 'T' element (51) that locates in a formed slot in the base. When in position the unit is securely latched. The top of the module has hinged covers (28) on both sides that cover the terminals. The ends (29) have latching profiles to secure the covers.
