Abstract

The automatic water supply valve is comprised of a water valve 11, figure 2, a lever A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, two water reservoirs, 8 and 14, two water drippers 9 and 13, and two capillary tubes 15 and 16, which empty the water reservoirs after their operation. When reservoir 8 receives a sufficient amount of water from dripper 9, its weight impels the lever to move from the position shown in figure 2, to the position in figure 3, thereby closing the water supply of the automatic valve. Subsequently, once reservoir 14 receives a sufficient amount of water through dripper 13, it impels the lever to move from position 3 to position 2, thereby opening the water supply of the automatic valve. If segment E, F, G, H, J with reservoir 14, dripper 13 and capillary tube 16 are all removed from the lever of the automatic valve A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, then the automatic valve can close the water flow supply only, provided we have previously repositioned the remaining part of the lever, i.e. A, B, C, D, E, and have opened the supply of the automatic valve (fig.4). The advantages of this invention are its very low cost and essentially maintenance-free operation, properties making it very suitable, especially for agricultural use.
