Abstract

Method and Device for determining and discerning liquids and for liquid contamination recognition in which the method and device use spectral analysis of control samples of known liquids as well as spectral analysis of unknown liquids for the generation of optical signatures, imprints, or distribution profiles, data and processed data referring to relative intensities of light at selected wavelengths and by comparison of different signatures, imprints, or distribution profiles, provide decisive information as to the contamination or non-contamination of unknown liquids, thereby a suitable functionality control or practical application is realised.
