ία μέθοδος διά την παραγωγήν βενζίνης υψηλού οκτανίου από μίαν τροφοδοσίαν πυριμάχου πετρελαίου έχοντος μέσον όρον σημείου ζέσεως υπεράνω της περιοχής ζέσεως της βενζίνης και κάτω της περιοχής ζέσεωςτου βαρέος πετρελαίου του κύκλου και περιέχοντοςτουλάχιστον 45 όγκους τοις εκατόν αρωματικών εκ τωνοποίων ο μεγαλύτερος απλούς αρωματικός τύπος είναι J-12, χαρακτηριζομένη από: α) κατεργασίαν με υδρογόνον του ειρημένου πυριμάχου πετρελαίου παρουσία ενός καταλύτο β) ανάκτησιν του παραγομένου κανονικώς υγρού, κατειργασμένου με υδρογόνον προϊόντος περιέχοντος κατ' ελάχιστον 40 όγκους τοις εκατόν αρωματικά τις τα οποία ο μεγαλύτερος απλούς τύπος αρωματικού είναι J- γ) πυρόλυσιν μέρους τουλάχιστοντου υδρογονοκατειργασμένουπροϊόντοςπαρουσία ενός καταλύτου της πυρολύσεω δ) ανάκτησιν από το εκ τηςπυρολύσεως παραγόμενον προϊόν μιας βενζίνης εχούσης ένα F-I αριθμόν καθαρών οκτανίων τουλάχιστον 95και περιεχούσης τουλάχιστον 45 τοις εκατόν κατ' όγκον αρωματικά από τα οποία ο μεγαλύτερος απλούς αρωματικός τύπος είναι J- ε) και την κεχωρισμένων ανάκτησιν από του πυρολυθέντος προϊόντος ενός δευτέρου πυριμάχου πετρελαίου έχοντος ένα μέσον όρον σημείου ζέσεως υπεράνω της περιοχής ζέσεως της βενζίνης και περιέχοντος το J-12 ως τον μεγαλύτερον απλούν αρωματικόν τύποA process for producing high-octane gasoline from a refractory oil supply having an average boiling point above the gasoline boiling zone and below the heavy cycle boiling zone of the cycle and containing at least 45 volumes of aromatics greater than one hundred 12, characterized by: (a) hydrogen treatment of said refractory oil in the presence of a catalyst (b) recovery of the normally produced, hydrogen-treated product containing at least 40 per cent by volume of aromatics of which the largest simple aromatic type is J; (c) cracking of at least part of a hydrogen-treated product in the presence of a cracking catalyst (d) recovery from the cracked product of a petrol having an F-I number of pure octane of at least 95 and containing at least 45 per cent by volume of aromatics, of which the largest simple aromatic formula is J; (e) and the separated recovery from the cracked product of a second refractory oil having an average boiling point above the boiling point of gasoline and containing J-12 as the largest single aromatic type
