Abstract

The burner consists of one or more Venturi tubes (1) feeding a gas/air pre-mixture into a chamber covered by a rounded flame outlet (11). The chamber has a constructed zone (10) between the flame outlet and Venturi tube. The Venturi tube is made by assembling two half-shells (2,3) which have a series of aligning orifices (19) to receive ducts through which a heat-carrying fluid can circulate. Each flame outlet (11) has several orifices in the form of transverse slits (12) which can be separated into two sections by a central lengthwise strip of material. The burner is made from a material which promotes the evacuation of the heat flow and reduced nitrous oxide emissions, e.g. aluminium or copper.
