Abstract

The device includes a device (4) for supplying sleeves which is arranged above and perpendicular to the conveyor (2) and a stretching (drawing) device including two pairs of horizontally movable drawing (stretching) devices (6) arranged obliquely with respect to the direction of conveying of packages by the conveyor, each pair of drawing devices being arranged on either side of the conveying path and being vertically movable between the conveyor and the supply device for gripping a sleeve and positioning it on a package. <IMAGE>
