Abstract

Novelty: a seamless coffin made of wood pulp cast under pressure is disclosed. Constitution: two parts: the main body (1) and the cover (2) both made of wood pulp cast under pressure into special molds, according to the desired form. For durable and rigid surfaces, adequate local thickness configurations are created during casting at all edges (3, 4, 5) of the main body (1) and cover (2) and wherever reinforcements (6, 8) are required. Likewise, different planar surfaces (10), curved surfaces (11), housings for the reception of additional accessories, ornamental pleats (12), flutings (13) as well as representations and projecting or engraved symbols (7) are configurated. Advantages: seamless unified continuous surfaces and walls; low-production cost; strong, resistant and elegant construction in any size, form and number of surfaces; symbols and representations depending on the desired whole form and design can be added.
