Abstract

The invention concerns a shelf support and side stabilization structure for paper product display stands. It consists of a paper frame with creases (Figure - 1) of variable length and a wooden bar (Figure - 2) of length equal to the paper frame. The shelf support is characterized by having dimensions and shape that vary by choice, has a load capacity (weight) of up to 45 kg per shelf, simultaneously offers support and stabilization to the paper product display stands and is fully recyclable, leaving zero environmental footprint.

[0006] The present invention relates to the construction of shelf supports and the stabilization of the sides of product display stands made of paper. It consists of a paper frame with creases (pricks) and a wooden bar. It is manufactured in various lengths depending on the width of the stand, supports a weight of up to 45 kg per shelf and is fully recyclable.

[0007] Floor-standing product display stands are well-known structures and are currently placed wherever there is available space in the aisles of a store. They have a specific number of shelves, dimensions, weight capacity and constitute a single structure.

[0008] The object of the present invention is to provide support for the shelves of the stands so that they can withstand a weight of up to 45 kg per shelf, while at the same time stabilizing their two vertical (lateral) sides. The support of shelves has been offered to date with constructions made of paper, iron or wood. The novelty of our invention consists in the composite construction with wood glued to a paper frame.

[0010] Paper frame (Drawing - 1) made of solid (cushion / bookbinding) or corrugated (B, E, C, BE, BC) cardboard. The length of the frame ranges from 20 to 60 centimeters, depending on the opening of the sides of the stand.

[0011] Wooden bar (Drawing - 2) made of plywood / MDF / chipboard / plain wood. The length of the bar is equal to that of the paper frame.

[0013] Figure (1) shows the cardboard frame, manufactured and delivered in a flat form, for ease of transport. It has creases (scratches) so that it can be folded very easily, on site in the store for which it is intended. It is manufactured in a length proportional to the dimensions of the shelves and the opening of the sides of each stand. After folding, it is simply placed under each shelf.

[0014] Figure (2) shows the wooden beam. It is made to a length similar to the paper frame and a height/thickness proportional to the weight it must support.

[0015] The wooden bar (Drawing - 3/E) is glued to the paper frame (Drawing - 3/D) with liquid or hot glue and the shelf support is delivered in a flat form, along with any remaining parts of the stand. To install the support, the left side (Drawing - 3/A), the right side (Drawing - 3/B) and the wood gluing position with the glued wooden bar (Drawing - 3/D&E) are folded at right angles to the central part (Drawing - 3/C). The final result after folding is shown in Drawing (4 - Front view, 5 - Rear view).

[0016] Figure (6) shows the installation of the shelf support on the stand, by inserting its left and right sides into the special slots. After installation, since the sides of the shelf support have entered the corresponding slots on the sides of the stand, its stability and resistance to lateral displacements are ensured.

Product display stand shelf support, characterized by being placed on paper stands, being foldable, consisting of a left side (Drawing - 1/A), a right side (Drawing - 1/B), a central section (Drawing - 1/C), a wood gluing position (Drawing - 1/D) and a wooden bar (Drawing - 2). 2. Product display pedestal shelf support, according to claim 1, characterized in that it has dimensions and shape that vary according to choice. 3. Product display pedestal shelf support according to claims 1 to 2, characterized in that it has a load capacity (weight) of up to 45 kg per shelf. 4. Product display stand shelf support, according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it is made of solid (cushioned / bookbinding) or corrugated (B, E, C, BE, BC) cardboard, in combination with a wooden bar (plywood / MDF / chipboard / plain wood) which is glued to the cardboard using liquid or hot glue. 5. Product display pedestal shelf support, according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it is manufactured in a selected length, width and thickness. 6. Use of the above Product Display Pedestal Shelf Support, according to the above claims, characterized in that it is installed on paper pedestals, ensuring load resistance of up to 45 kg per shelf and resistance to lateral displacements.
