Abstract
Novelty: a portable stainless motor-operated appliance simultaneously serving as a pomegranate crusher and juice extractor is disclosed. Technical features: the invented appliance (pomegranate crusher and juice extractor in one piece) is fixed on a wheeled metal base and equipped with two arrangements: a first arrangement designed for the separation of the peel and seeds and a second arrangement meant for the squeezing of the pomegranate and the separation of the juice from pips into a vat covered by a cap. The first peel-seeds separation arrangement is composed of the shaft-cylinder having incorporated vanes all along its length and a grid set under this shaft, which grid is liable to retain the peel residues and allow the passage of the seeds there through; the peel is propelled to a collector by the vanes of the above arrangement and through a funnel found at the right part of the vat and over the grid, the pip-free juice being drawn, via a scoop, to another collector.
