Abstract

Novelty: a foldable double wrap-reel is disclosed. Constitution: the foldable reel-fork (1) and the foldable reel-umbrella (2) having both the same support base (11), the same rotation mechanism (12) and the same hand crank (13). An existing or additional connector (sleeve, quick-action connector-storz coupling) set at an adequate point on the fire-extinguishing vehicle or elsewhere suffices to serve as a support base. The mechanism-umbrella converts into a support base by means of the special accessory (3). The connection, disconnection and alternation of the reels are carried out with no use of tools. Purpose: to wind flexible materials (e.g. cords, cables etc) and flexible fire-extinguishing hoses in coils of small diameter (donuts) and big diameter, respectively.
