Abstract
Η εφεύρεση αφορά σε εφαρμογή τεχνολογιών οφθαλμικής ιχνηλάτησης (eye tracking) κατά την ανάγνωση. Ιδιαίτερα η εφεύρεση μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί για την περιγραφή αναγνωστικών δυσκολιών, καθώς επίσης και αξιολόγηση της αναγνωστικής ικανότητας, μέτρηση και σύγκριση βελτίωσης μετά από παρέμβαση. Επίσης, η εφεύρεση μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί για την περιγραφή αναγνωστικών δυσκολιών, καθώς επίσης και αξιολόγηση της αναγνωστικής ικανότητας, μέτρηση και σύγκριση βελτίωσης μετά από παρέμβαση για περιπτώσεις δυσλεξίας. Η μέθοδος χρησιμοποιεί σύστημα με 2 κάμερες ανίχνευσης οφθαλμικών κινήσεων (4) τοποθετημένες πάνω σε κινητό βραχίονα (1), ο οποίος διαθέτει αισθητήρες μέτρησης θέσης βραχίονα (2) και μια πηγή υπέρυθρου φωτός (3), από έναν υπολογιστή καταγραφής, επεξεργασίας και ανάλυσης δεδομένων (7), από μία συσκευή απεικόνισης (6), και μία συσκευή εισόδου δεδομένων (5) σε συνδυασμό με λογισμικό σχεδιασμένο για την επεξεργασία και ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων. Το λογισμικό αυτό κατηγοριοποιεί τον εξεταζόμενο ανάλογα με την ηλικία του. Αν για παράδειγμα ο εξεταζόμενος εμφανίσει αναγνωστικά χαρακτηριστικά, τα οποία τον ξεχωρίζουν από τον φυσιολογικό πληθυσμό της ηλικιακής του ομάδας, τότε προτείνεται η περαιτέρω διερεύνηση από άλλα πρωτόκολλα εξέτασης αναγνωστικών δυσκολιών.
