Abstract
να φαρμακευτικό παρασκεύασμα, το οποίο θα χορηγείται ενδοουρηθρικά για τη διάγνωση και θεραπεία της στυτικής δυσλειτουργίας στον άνδρα. Ως συστατικά περιέχει προσταγλανδίνη Ε1 συνδεδεμένη σε α-κυκλοδεξτρίνη για την επίτευξη σταθερότητας (υπό μορφή κρυοδιατηρημένης κόνεως), καθώς επίσης έναν ουδέτερο φορέα υπό μορφή κόνεως (παράγωγο του αλγινικού οξέος-alginic acid derivate). Το μίγμα αυτό διαλύεται σε απεσταγμένο ύδωρ και χορηγείται στην ανδρική ουρήθρα. Ο φορέας ερχόμενος σε επαφή με ηλεκτρολύτες της ουρήθρας πήγνυται και σχηματίζει Gel. Η ζελατινοποίηση του συστήματος εντός της ουρήθρας παρεμποδίζει την έξοδο και απώλεια της δραστικής ουσίας προσταγλανδίνης από το στόμιο της ουρήθρας. Η προσταγλανδίνη Ε1 κατανέμεται στην ουρήθρα και διαχέεται στον σηραγγώδη ιστό όπου προκαλεί την στυτική της δράση χωρίς να είναι απαραίτητες μαλάξεις της ουρήθρας, όπως σε άλλα συστήματα, οι οποίες οδηγούν σε μικροτραυματισμούς του ουρηθρικού βλεννογόνου και ερεθιστική συμπτωματολογία. ΰ
