The surgical suture cutter consists of a cylindrical disk-like head (1) having at its frontal surface a hollow semicylindrical angle crescent ~35-40o accommodating a V-blade (2) fastened in the middle of the cylinder's height (h) and of an attaching mechanism (3) to several surgical instruments (eg. an acutenaculum limb) arranged at the rear surface of the head. A smooth pass of the suture edges into the slot carries out the cutting off thereof at the desirable height by the surgeon himself provided that it is adapted to the acutenaculum. This eliminates the risk of causing injuries to the patient's tissues or the surgeon himself or his assistant (due to the nature of the head).
