Abstract

A pesticidal composition comprises 1 part by weight of rotenone in admixture with 0,4-1,2 parts by weight of piperonyl butoxide, a solvent and a surface-active agent. The rotenone may be in the form of pure rotenone, derris extract or cub<\>ae extract. The surface-active may be non-ionic with or without an anionic surface-active agent. The solvent may be benzene or methyl naphthalene or a mixture thereof with an aliphatic hydrocarbon. The composition may additionally contain other pesticide, e.g. dieldrin or DDT. Specified forms are emulsions both of the water-in-oil and oil-in-water type and emulsifiable concentrates.
