Abstract

An aerosol propellant formulation consists of at least 65% by weight of volatile chlorofluorinated paraffinic hydrocarbon or hydrocarbons having a normal boiling point not greater than 30 DEG C., the remainder comprising at least one of the C3, C4, C5 and C6 paraffins and including at least one of the C5 and C6 paraffins, the total amount of C3 and C4 paraffins when present not exceeding 16% by weight of the chlorofluorinated hydrocarbon. Examples are given of air-fresheners, fly-sprays and a hair lacquer. Specification 885,746 is referred to.ALSO:Aerosol fly-spray compositions comprise active ingredients, solvents and propellants. In one example, a composition comprises pyrethrum extract, piperonyl butoxide, odourless kerosene, emulsifier, perfume, water, isopropanol, hexane and dichlorodifluoromethane. Examples also relate to a hair lacquer and air-freshness. Specification 885,746 is referred to.
