999,690. Walls and ceilings; structural tubes. H. HANEKAMP. April 19, 1962, No. 15402/62. Headings E1K and E1V. A metal structural member of the cross section shown has indentations 3 in the bottom wall 1 through which screws 4, passing through plaster or insulating boards 2, are screwed. The walls 6 are continued upwardly as strips 7 secured together by screws or the like (not shown) passing through slots in the strips. In alternative forms of the structural member the walls 5 and 6 are curved and merge at a sharp curvature instead of an angle and the walls 5 are at an acute angle to the bottom wall, leaving sufficient clearance for the screws. Adjacent members are joined by a coupling member 10.
