Abstract
Salts of trifluor- or trichloracetic acid and an organic base are prepared by adding the acid or a salt thereof to piperidine, morpholine, 2-picoline, 1 - methyl - 2(2,4 - dinitrobenzyl)pyridinium chloride, guanidine carbonate, tetraethylammonium chloride, tri - (aminoethyl)-amine, 1,3-dihydroxy - 2 - hydroxymethyl - 2 -propylamine, p - toluidine, 2 - amino - 5 - diethylaminotoluene, p-aminophenol or p-methylaminophenol. The preparation of the salt of perfluorobutyric acid with 1,3-dihydroxy-2-hydroxymethyl-2 -propylamine is also described. Specification 998,950 is referred to.
