Abstract
997,834. Valves. LICENCIA TALAL-. MANYOKAT ERTEKESITO VALLALAT May 1, 1962 [May 10, 1961], No. 16584/62. Heading F2V. [Also in Division F4] In a water circulation system (see Division F4), a drain pipe contains a combined non- return valve 10. As shown, valve 10 includes two primary flap valves 11, biased to the closed position by counterweights (Fig. 2, not shown), and two rubber flap valves 13, each positioned at the lowest point of flap valves 11. Flap valves 11 are opened by a head of water greater than one meter. When the head falls below one meter, valves 11 close and the remaining water drains through valves 13. Each valve 13 has at most a tenth portion of the flow cross-sectional area of its flap valve 11.
