Abstract
996,969. Sectional stands; shelving. A. W. ELEY. June 18, 1962 [June 16, 1961], No. 21866/61. Headings A4B and A4H. A display stand is built from similar metal units each comprising three or more uprights 1 tied intermediate their ends by cross-members providing bearers for downwardly flanged shelves 6, detachable resilient members 3, e.g. of rubber or plastic tube, having a pair of blind bores serving to interconnect the ends of uprights 1 of superposed units and feet 8, formed as one half of a connecting member 3, being provided on the lowermost units. The shelf supporting cross-members are preferably disposed nearer one end of the uprights 1 whereby a unit may be inverted to vary the shelf height.
