Abstract

990, 054. Fluid-pressure servomotor systems. ANDRE CITROEN S.A. July 5, 1961 [July 8, I960], No. 24321/61. Heading G3P. The swashplate 13 of an hydraulic motor 1 driving an electric generator 2 is adjusted by a servopiston 12 under the control of a piston valve 10 movable by a pressure differential applied to a pair of diaphragms 8, 9, or pistons, in response to deflection of a member 3 coating with nozzles 4, 5 and actuated in accordance with variations of the voltage, current &c. output of the generator by an electromagnet 19. The chambers 6, 7 and nozzles 4, 5 are fed through nozzles 17, 18 with the exhuast fluid from the motor the pressure of which is governed by a valve 16. The valve 10 controls the servopiston by connecting it either to the motor supply conduit or to exhaust. In a modification the nozzles 4, 5 are controlled by a member movable by a centrifugal governor driven by the hydraulic motor. Specification 990,053 is referred to.
