988,428. Load-carrying pallets. REED PAPER GROUP Ltd. March 26, 1964 [Jan. 7, 1963], No. 716/63. Heading B8H. Fig. 1 shows a support, comprising a block 8 and a folded strip 7 of corrugated board, for a four-way entry pallet 1 having a platform 2. The strip 7 is folded from the blank shown in Fig. 2 and retains the block 8 against the platform 2 as shown in Fig. 1 without the use of adhesive or staples by passing panels 6, 16 through slots 4, folding panels 16 flat on the top of the platform 2 and tucking the panels 6 through slots 5. Fig. 3 shows a two-way entry pallet with elongated skids 18 retained against the platform 2 by folded strips having cut-outs 20.
