985,891. Floor treating machines. ELECTROSTAR G.m.b.H. Aug. 29, 1962 [Sept. 5, 1961], No. 33184/62. Heading A4F. In a floor treating machine an electric motor is installed in an oblong housing 1 of uniform cross-section with the motor shaft inclined to the longitudinal axis of the housing. The motor may be coupled to a brush by a coupling within the ring 17, or a secondary housing containing a dust bag may be attached to the housing 1 to convert the machine to a suction cleaner.
