983,887. Colour photography. AGFA A.G. Aug. 8,1962 [Aug. 9, 1961],No. 30413/62. Heading G2C. In the production of colour correction masking images a light sensitive material carrying a panchromatic silver halide emulsion and a yellow filter layer on a transparent support is exposed to white light through the filter layer, developed to produce a negative silver masking image,fixed and dried. In producing colour-corrected colour separation records the mask so obtained is used in register with each colour separation record. The yellow filter layer may be an orange yellow and may be on the back of the support or between the support and the emulsion, or the support itself may be coloured. The dye used in the filter layer is preferably one which is decolorised in processing baths. Specifications 446,583, 506,385, 584,482, 633,114, 680,631, 694,681, 695,874, 706,084 and 900,094.
