Abstract
981,892. Protective arrangements; automatic circuit-breakers. E. SCHRACK. May 15, 1961 [July 7, 1960], No. 17633/61. Headings H2B and H2K. A protective arrangement comprises a circuitbreaker 2 having a latch 1 which may be released by an electromagnet 4 energized in accordance with the earth fault current derived from a core-balance transformer 3, or by an electromagnet 7 responsive to the voltage to earth of a neutral conductor 0 or any other fault voltage to earth. A variable resistor 8 may be connected between the conductor 0 and the coil of the electromagnet 7. A test switch 6 in series with a resistor 5 may be connected as shown.
