A fascia for concealing the edge of an apron forming part of a roof covering 22, (Figs. 1, 2 and 4), includes shaped clips 1 to be attached spacedly (e.g. by a pin 7) to a wall 6 immediately below the apron, lengths of substantially L-shaped fascia plate 2, one arm 18 of which has opposed channels 19, 20 for the plates 2 to be slidingly engaged over the clips 1 entering the channels 19, 20 and lying substantially vertical when positioned on the clips 1 and the other arm 21 being substantially horizontal over and spaced from the roof covering 22, and bridge plates 3 engaging in the end sections of the channels 19, 20 of adjacent lengths of plate 2. Each clip 1 may be of metal or synthetic plastics material with a central portion 4 for wall attachment, and integral L-shaped lugs 9, 13, the respective outer arms 16, 15 thereof being in the same plane. The outer marginal portions of the lugs 9, 13 are turned back to form a bead 11 and to lie at an acute angle to the arm 1 respectively. In a modified clip the outer arms 15, 16 are tapered towards their outer edges to assist in the sliding of the plates 2 on to the clips 1. In a further modification (Fig. 8) the clip has a circular central portion 32 with an integral frusto-conical portion 33 diverging therefrom and each plate has the outer marginal portion of the arm 18 forming an angle complementary to the taper angle of the portion 33, a flange 35 integral with the arm 18 being at the same angle thereto.
