A toilet seat cover 1 comprises a sheet of paper or like disposable material formed with an aperture 2 conforming substantially in size and shape with that of the seat and having at its front end a pocket engageable thereby. The cover 1 may have a pocket at each side to engage the corresponding sides of the seat. The pockets are formed by folding over the portions 3, 4 and 5 and securing them by means of an adhesive. The cover 1 may be treated with a disinfectant or antiseptic medium.
