Abstract

A ferrite has the formula Li2O.5(1 - x)(Fe2O3) where 0.1\sEx\sE0.5 and is made by pressing and sintering oxides. The variation of coercive force with x is shown graphically, and gives a minimum coercive force at the preferred composition Li2O.4Fe2O3 while retaining the high Curie point of Li ferrite.
