973,016. Conveyers for bottles. GEO. J. MEYER MANUFACTURING CO. May 15, 1962 [May 31, 1961], No. 18636/62. Heading B8A. Bottle carriers 10 for a bottle washing machine axe mounted between chains 22 and comprise a metal top sheet 12 extruded to form up and down strengthening flanges 36, 38. The sheet 12 has apertures 28 to receive the bases of bottles 30 and is fastened to a metal bottom sheet 14 by strips 16 secured at opposite ends of the sheets 12, 14. Sheet 14 has downwardly tapered cup portions 32 which receive the necks of the bottles 30.
