Abstract
972,692. Small arms. BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. Ltd. March 13, 1961 [Jan. 20, 1960], No. 2008/60. Heading F3C. In a semi-automatic firearm as described in Specification 972,691, the bolt 2 is formed with a longitudinal bore 9 and a radial bore 10 for housing an extractor 12 and a leaf spring 17 urging the extractor inwardly, both being retained against longitudinal displacement by engagement of portions 14 and 18 within the bore 10. Depression of the spring portion 18 within the bore 10 permits its removal and the removal of the extractor 12.
