Abstract
972,130. Transistor gating circuits. ASSOCI ATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. March 24, 1961 [April 7, 1960], No. 12412/60. Heading H3T. A gating circuit comprises a number of cascaded A.C. amplifiers each gated by a D.C. signal V2 applied through an inductive impedance such that the gating signal also provides the operating potentials for the amplifier, the arrangement being such that an A.C. signal is only transmitted through the circuit if all the gating signals are present. As described, each stage comprises a transistor TR with a step down input transformer T1 in its emitter circuit, and a step down output transformer T2 in its collector circuit.
