Abstract
971,180. Supporting reinforcing bars. BAUSTAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. Feb. 19, 1963 [Feb. 20, 1962], No. 6570/63. Heading E1V. Intersecting rods 14, 15, for the reinforcement of a floor or the like, are supported at four symmetrical points by a trestle comprising two parallel rods 10 bent to a trapezoidal shape and interconnected by a pair of transverse bracing rods 13. The yoke portion 12 of the rods 10 may be depressed at 12<SP>1</SP> to provide four point support if the rod 14 is of greater diameter than the transverse rods 13. Three such trestles may be symmetrically positioned to support the upper mesh of a reinforced concrete floor.
