[Also in Divisions F1 and G3] A storage tank comprises an outer wall 14 extending between upper and lower walls 15, 16, a passage 17 open at its upper end, two or more walls dividing the interior of the tank into individual compartments 19, each having an inlet port 20 communicating with the passage, and valve means 21 to control the inlet ports. The valve means consists of a rotatable sleeve having ports 23 and a filter 24 through which the compartments 19 may be filled after removal of a cap 25. Conduits 13 connect the compartments to lubricating oil pumps 11 on a bank of vertically mounted gasturbine engines 10 in an aircraft and the parts of the tank may be made from a translucent material, such as glass fibre reinforced resin, to provide an indication of the oil levels in the individual compartments. Each compartment 19 is vented by a conduit system which prevents leakage when the tank is tilted or inverted. The pumps 11 may be of the type described in Specification 969,786.
