969,675. Slings. STRANGBETONG A.B. April 27, 1962 [April 29, 1961], No. 16235/62. Heading B8H. A sling for lifting long beams, e.g. concrete building elements, comprises pairs of links 14, 15, Fig. 1, pivoted to each other at 10 and attached to the beam at 16, 17, and links 7 which are pivoted to each other at the slinging point. The links are attached to the beam by tubular members 16, Fig. 3, passing therethrough, and holes 18, 19 are provided for adjusting the lengths of the links. The links 7a, 7b are attached to the links 14, 15 by a vertical pivot 13, Fig. 4.
