Abstract
969,156. Ornamenting. JUILLERAT FRERES S.A. Jan. 29, 1963 [April 11, 1962], No. 3688/63. Heading B6G. [Also in Division G3] The visible face of the watch is normally covered by a device made symmetrically, as shown, to simulate the appearance of a ladybird. The two movable cover members 5, 6 represent the wings and manipulative extension parts 19 of these members the tentacles. The members are pivoted on a head part 11 secured to an extension 7 of a back plate of the movement case 1 by a screw 10, the head part carrying a bow ring 15. The ends of a curved blade spring 21 are engaged in notches 20 of the members 5, 6, so that the wings spring toward their open and closed positions when manipulated by the parts 19.
