967,206. Inverting. ALSTHOM SOC. GENERALE DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES ET MECANIQUES. June 27, 1963 [June 27, 1962], No. 25681/63. Addition to 967,205. Drawings to Specification. Heading H2F. In an inverting arrangement according to the parent Specification the inductively coupled windings are wound on a saturable core. With this arrangement their inductance is reduced, except at the commutation period, and the voltage drop across them is reduced. Preferably the cores have a small remanence, but auxiliary windings may be added to counteract hysteresis effects.
