[Also in Division D1] Bobbins for receiving fibre laps are flangeless and are provided with rotatable spindles. The peripheries of the bobbins may be felt covered to enable an end of lap to be picked up easily when winding begins. Alternatively, suction devices may be provided within the bobbin.
