Abstract
960, 413. Photographic processing apparatus. KODAK Ltd. Jan. 13, 1961 [Jan. 15, 1960], No. 1491/60. Heading G2A. A photographic processing apparatus has two or more horizontal rollers dipping into a bath of processing liquid and applying it to a sheet of material passing over the rollers, the sheet being guided by fixed rails extending across and above the rollers. The form shown in Fig. 2 has two sets of rollers 1, 2 dipping respectively into tanks 3, 4. The cover 6 of the tanks has on its under side a plurality of guide rails 7 extending in the direction of travel of the photographic paper. Thus the latter is coated with liquid on its emulsion side only. In the alternative form of Fig. 5, the guide rails 22 are angled, and relieve over each roller. The rollers are driven from a motor 26 which is mounted within the cover 23, as is other electrical equipment such as a switch 29 and capacitor motor starter 30. Thus the electrical gear is kept clear of the processing solution. The rollers are readily removable.
