960,285. Door furniture. B. K. HOUSTON. Feb. 11, 1963 [Feb. 17, 1962], No. 6234/62. Heading E2A. Door furniture comprises plates 16, 17 adapted to be secured to opposite faces of a door, one plate 16 supporting screws 21 which extend through the door and bear nuts 22 engageable with screws 24 fitted into the plate 17. To bring the plates together screws 24 are moved inwardly to abut the indirect faces 23 of the nuts 22, and thus clamp the plates to either side of the door.
