960,065. Strengthening edges. H. ENDER. March 22, 1961 [March 22, 1960], No. 10538/61. Heading B5K. [Also in Division E1] A plastic strip used to protect the edges of floor and wall coverings has opposed channel sectioned parts connected by a grooved flexible web 3. The channels are each provided on either of their flanges with a tongue or tubular protection 10, 11 to grip the inserted covering and one or both of the flanges 5, 6 may be cut away as at 9 so that the strip may key to a supporting surface. To connect two covering members at right angles the strip is bent at the web 3.
