[Also in Division B8] Rack and pinion-driven slewing means for a moving part e.g. a king post, of an excavator or the like is formed as a unitary, fluid-tight assembly in which the casing 10 thereof besides housing the rack 27 and pinion 20 is so formed as to provide a pair of opposed cylinders 23 for the pistons 26 at the ends of the rack 27.
