Abstract

956,218. Coin freed apparatus. TEMAT. Nov. 22, 1962 [Nov. 24, 1961], No. 44269/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading G4V. To provide a purchaser with the means for mixing a beverage a machine dispenses a packaged portion of base material and a cup and, when the cup is placed beneath a delivery nozzle, the machine provides a measured quantity of liquid. The base material is packed in cylinders stored in a column of descending ramps from the bottom one of which the cylinders are fed one at a time by a four-bladed rotary dispenser. The cups are stacked upside down and are fed by the rims downwards by a toothed wheel. A pusher is used to strip the bottom cup when freed by the wheeel. Coins may accumulate in either of two coin shoots and, by means of rotating disc gates projecting into the shoots, the coins may be collected one by one and a delivery be made for each coin. Base material for coffee, tea, and consomme may be dispensed. The liquid dispenser is not described.
