955,890. Lamp caps and holders. JOHNSON SUNG. Dec. 19, 1962 [Jan. 19, 1962], No. 1997/62. Heading H2E. A rubber collar 4, is attached either to the glass base of a Christmas decoration type electric light bulb with a screw-threaded cap 3, or to the socket 5, into which the bulb fits, so that when the two are engaged the rubber collar 4 is gripped between the internal periphery of the socket and the glass base of the bulb to limit lateral movement between the two, as shown in Fig. 2 The collar may be attached to the socket or the glass base of the bulb by an adhesive or by its own elasticity.
