954,940. Thermal switches; fluid actuation of switches. SAGINOMIYA SEISAKUSHO CO. Ltd. Dec. 15, 1961 [March 8, 1961], No. 44977/61. Heading H2B. A temperature or pressure-sensitive switch comprises an L-shaped lever 7 pivoted against the bias of a tension spring 10 by a capsule 2 connected with a fluid filled sensing tube 27, the lever 7 actuating, through a snap spring 16, a second pivoted lever 14 which acts on a pushrod 19 to operate contacts 20. The bias of spring 10 is variable by means of a cam 12 rotatable on a spindle 11 and acting upon a member 13 supporting the spring; preset adjustment is provided by a screw 9. The temperature or pressure differential is adjustable by means of a screw stop 22 altering the travel of lever 14.
