954,515. Cleaning by air jets; self-feeding brushes. R. E. COX. March 4, 1963 [Dec. 7, 1961], No. 43811/61. Headings A4F and A4K. Means for cleaning a vehicle floor comprises a nozzle 10 connected to a supply of compressed air and having at least two divergent outlet ports 12, 14 to provide two divergent streams of air to displace dirt from opposite sides of a centrally disposed gangway to a collecting point. In addition the nozzle may have a third air outlet port 13 and a pipe 15 for supplying water to reduce the raising of dust. A brush 16 may also be secured to the nozzle for dislodging dirt.
