[Also in Division G1] A multiple recording-instrument in which records of several variables are made each in a different colour on a moving strip of paper 3 through coloured ink ribbons struck periodically and in succession by a punch 24 positioned transversely in accordance with the variables, has the ribbons 20 equispaced round the circumference of a circle and extending parallel to a shaft 4 being connected thereto to form a cage, while the shaft periodically turns through a fraction of a revolution in synchronism and suitable phase with reciprocations of the punch 24 which can pass between adjacent ribbons in a direction normal to the shaft. The shaft 4 is carried by two plates 1, 2, the journal at one end being in a screw plug 7 or other releasably held plug.
