950,247. Trainer-leads for animals. A. J. WILLIAMS. July 10, 1962, No. 26367/62. Heading A1M. A lead for use in training animals comprises an outer tube 5 in which slides an extension tube 9 held in position by a stud 13 on tube 10 passing through one of a number of holes drilled in the tube 9. A bar 11 is attached to a rod 12 secured to a trigger 4 such that when the trigger is pulled, bar 11 is turned through 90 degrees and may be brought into contact with the back of an animal being trained. The trigger includes a spring mechanism so that rod 12 and bar 11 are returned to their original position when pressure on the trigger is relaxed.
